'Inside the Notebook' is a great read for younger audiences.
Peter established his target market and worked closely with his own kids to create a story that acts as a bridge between picture books and meatier texts like Harry Potter or even Rainbow Magic.
Though I am past the age of enjoying the book to its full extent, I can appreciate the representation it provides as a former shy-kid myself!

What a lovely adventure through Hodkinson's Inside The Notebook. A perfect story for any young reader, with a message that holds value for all. I think every child would benefit from reading this story and aspiring to emulate the lessons within. Strongly recommend - my nieces and nephews loved it - and desperately want to get ahold of that notebook.

This book is amazing! Perfect gift for anyone who has just learnt to read or for parents to read before bed. Illustrations are great and the message in it is just lovely - highly recommend!
