The illustrations in this book of the various sculptures, textiles and figures are incredible. The historical context provided in the beginning of the journey of these artefacts into the various European museums was EXTREMELY significant in highlighting the importance of the current repatriation and restitution processes being undertaken. It’s an incredibly important and useful piece of literature and imagery to supplement “fostering respect for African cultures and worldviews”. Loved it!
