The French tire company Michelin publishes a variety of road maps, mostly of France but also other countries in Europe, Africa and North America.

Michelin maps began in 1900 as part of the free Guide Michelin, created by brothers André and Édouard Michelin to encourage driving and boost tire sales, containing maps, repair info, hotels, and restaurants

Michelin road maps were considered highly accurate & were reproduced in England for the Allied invasion of Europe during World War II.

Like all of the Michelin travel guides, this was as close to my heart as a pacemaker on my recent travel to Paris! It got me where I wanted to go and gave me the greatest MOST accurate reviews of all of the travel guides I utilized while vacationing abroad.
