I heard this book mentioned on one of my favorite podcasts, Excel Still More by Kris Emerson. I decided that I was going to take my time going through it so I didn't rush through any of the points the author was making. It is most certainly worth a read and contains some toe-stepping insight that could improve all of our homes if we have the courage to acknowledge our shortcoming and resolve to do better! To be better!
The author did a great job keeping each guideline fresh and you could certainly feel his passion for each topic he discussed. I appreciate that he didn't hide his own struggles within these areas which helps the reader relate to the writing and feel connected to the author. He also included questions for consideration at the end of each chapter, which can help the individual reading it make personal connections or use it in a small group setting. Even though the author seems to have young children, the material is relevant to all of our homes!
