Intended for ages 8 and up, "Quick Knits," is a slender volume that still manages to provide the basic steps to knit simple projects (accompanied by helpful full-color photographs) and ten (mostly) unisex patterns that even a very new-to-knitting child can complete within a reasonable amount of time and at moderate cost.

Yes I know it's a kids book-but it has excellent instructions and pictures to go along with it!
