A great book that should bring you comfort and confidence about what happens after you die. This book would be a great help for those who are ministering to people who are elderly or facing terminal illnesses are worried about what comes next.

What if you died tonight? Would you go to Heaven? Sobering question, isn't it?
You make plans to go on a two week vacation, but have you ever made plans for eternity, which is forever?
I personally believe the greatest fear of mankind is the fear of death. This book will not tell you what this author believes, but what the Author of life says in the Bible about life after death in a simple and understanding way.
"Beyond the Horizon - Overcoming the Fear of Death" will assure you of your final destination, and the joy of KNOWING, instead of just hoping, that you will go to Heaven when you die.

Beyond The Horizon - Overcoming the Fear of Death is a short, easy to read, scriptural based explanation of who we really are (eternal spirit beings who have a soul and live in a temporary body) and what happens to us after death. Everyone thinks about death at one time or another. Some obsess over it and fear it. Some dismiss it like it is the ultimate end, or as if it's not going to happen to them. This book helps overcome the fear of death, and the untruths or lies about it being the finality of life. We will all spend eternity somewhere. If you take weeks to plan a vacation, shouldn't you take the time to plan where you will spend eternity, either with your creator God, or eternally separated from Him and His love?

This book wasn’t exactly what I expected, but it did in my heart what I hoped it would.
Let me explain.
This was a pleasantly succinct, systematic theology on life and death - soul, spirit, and body - Heaven and hell - sin and resurrection - death being a departure from this world into our eternal home (for the believer) - and included all the major Bible verses on these subjects.
It didn’t specifically address how to deal with the emotions of fearing death or how to process the sorrow associated with death.
But the Bible does say that our faith is increased when we renew our minds in the Word of God. This book was full of many Bible passages that have in themselves the power to renew my mind and increase my faith & confidence in life beyond this world.
The subtitle of this book is “Overcoming the fear of death.” This book was a sweet reminder that the believer need not fear death, but for those of us who still viscerally feel its affect, the Bible verses included in this book will aide in strengthening our faith.
And when our faith is strengthened, our fear is lessened.
