Strange whispers in the shadows speak of an ancient secret and infernal curse that could poison their mating bond, and powerful rivalries between packs threaten to tear them apart. Can they find a way to trust themselves and each other, or will fear and pride burn their love?
Fix it until it breaks. I stand by my review of book one. A new author should NEVER put the price point of their first book in the $10 range. $3 maximum would’ve been a fair price. For the length and lack of editing in this one, maybe $2.99. I’m guessing the final in the series will be worth no more than that, if not less. The premise is good, but the author lacks the skills to publish a book worth what they’re selling this series for.
What is the point in writing a book like this? What is, literally, the point? The artistic prose? The thought-provoking story? The depth of character?
No.
You're writing for perverts who are into werewolves and you've got ONE sex scene at the end of book three. And it isn't even close to explicit.
Let me state again:
Your target audience is PERVERTS who want to get off to WEREWOLVES.
And you've failed to satisfy them.
So what was the point of any of it? What a waste of time and energy, on my part and the author's. What a nothing you have to say. What emptiness you have to offer.
Crap like this is the worst and I seriously don't understand what the point of it's existence is. Just write the smut, you're not better than it.
And you end it with a happily married (or what passes for it in wolfland) couple, with the woman PREGNANT. Oh hey yay, so dumb boring traditional human garbage then, thanks.
I read this in Readict, the complete series of 3 books. These are really good, (not cheap at $10 per book, but very good stories). There is good action and surprising twists in this books, not your usually romance story! Readict does treat these as a single book, so I'll add the other 2 soon in Goodreads. Well worth the cost to get all 3 books!
Still plagued with the lack of editing from the 1st book. This ends with the sweetest sentiment from Tristan to our MFC and a cliffhanger.
Overall enjoyable story line if the typos and errors don't distract you. I still fell all three books should be 1 book but I'll give a final verdict on book 3.
Though I do feel the price for each book is a tad high. These 3 books could have easily been 1. If you are going to drag a story out, then at least make the price less. I would like to read the next series since it is a continuation of this world, but due to the price of each book in that series as well, I think I'll skip it.
I have a love-hate relationship with these books. I love the storyline, but if I am honest, the first three books could have been written in one. If she hadn't spent so much time repeating things or having the two main male characters acting almost like the same guy, it could have been one book. I plan to finish the series, but I am over the phrase "will burn the world down".
The Rovers are a pack of outcasts and it does not matter that their Alpha's mate is part Vampire. They will fight with the Vampires against the vile Bane Pack that want to kill all of them.
She really and truly doesn't have a name. That is intriguing. She's called Flower, bit that's truly just a nickname to give Tristan something to call her. She became a Phoenix rising out of the ashes and she is beautiful.
Really it's just the middle part of a book. Idk if it's worth the $30 I spent on what should have just been one book but I did read it in one sitting and it is now currently 5:45am.... So it's not a bad story 🤣
I started book two at one pm. I finished it at four am. Couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read the third and final book. This book pulls you in many directions but keeps you hooked. I recommend highly.
Really enjoyed what this story got in. Not sure why it’s so short. It’s like the 3 books are really 1, separated. It ends in a cliffhanger. Again only a slight kiss and not on lips.
