Released just in time for the highly-anticipated film, A Guide to Narnia is an indispensable resource that will take you deeper into the story and help you understand C.S. Lewis' original purpose in creating this enchanting series.
This book has some interesting thoughts as to the symbology and meaning of issues in Narnia. It has some interesting ideas but I really wonder if those ideas were intended by Lewis or not. It many cases it seems to be a platform for preaching a theology that may not have been intended at all, at least not consciously. I liked the thoughts they had but came away feeling they didn't answer the 100 questions they presented fully. I would like to have seen more in the way of quotes from Lewis as to what he meant not just a lesson in religion. I agree with some totally lie the Lion of Judea. But I think they were really stretching it on others. Still it is s short read and has value.
