Mason Caldwell tried and tried to get art critics to notice her haunting, sensual paintings, but nobody cared. One night, on a bridge in Paris, she jumped in to save someone, but it turned out to be the move that made her and her work famous. For weeks she lay unconsious, while critics clamor over her work and the story of her suicide. You see, they found a body on the banks, thought to be her. Mason goes along with the scheme, acting as a sister so that her art can be managed, but a man, Richard Garrett, may unveil her secret. Pretty good book, but not as steamy as I thought. Need more detail.
I really only read a few chapters here and there in this book and then the end. Im pretty sure that I didnt miss anything, really. I was sort of waiting for something to compell me to read the whole thing. It reminded me of one of those romantic comedies... I think it would have Sandra Bullock or Camaron Diaz in it. Maybe Jennifer Aniston. And some hot guy. Total chick flick.
A some points it seemed really well thought through, but towards the end it seemed a little sloppily out together as far as the plot. But an enjoyable read for sure.
