One of the most fascinating and energetic books I have ever read. Marc Chagall traveled to so many different parts of the world, Russia, Paris, New York, Israel, and other parts of France. Wherever he went, his fame and reputation continued to grow. Bober combines Chagall's passion for his Jewish influences with other passions in his life and in his art. He loved bright colors, especially blues, and painted with a flowing vision of the world. My copy of this book has taken on the face of a textbook. I have marked so many texts that I don't want to forget and I plan to study Marc Chagall again and again. Such an inspiration.
