This is a compelling Boxset to read. It starts with a great story, I was not ready to say goodbye to Crescent creek, so having this new series set in the world, but about another pack was just a great way to work, it brings us characters that we have met briefly and gives them their own part of the world, and my goodness Blade made my heart hurt for him. There were so many moments in this first story that stood out to me.
I adored the new direction of the Dark Moon pack in the second story. Prospect just makes your heart melt, there is just something about him, he has a guilt from the past that shakes him, but he is strong enough to keep going and that is what wows Everly I think, and make her realise how right he is for her rather than a man lost in books, as much as I love books, sometimes you have to put them aside for love.
Story number three in the boxset brings a little sweetness to us. Crescent Creek just sounds like my type of place, and you just know that the minute West Castillo comes to town, he won’t ever want to leave, as it just has that homely vibe. Also, a little Cherry pie that I am sure he will find delicious.
Then we come to number four in the boxset and simply the best end to the series, this brought the story to a great conclusion as it allowed us to have some room for catching up again, Louis was always the quiet one, he knew what he wanted to say, but didn’t say it without it needing to be said and now we know why, he was pining for Addie. This is a great small-town story and makes me with even more that I could visit Crescent Creek, all of the characters there just make me smile and this pair just make me want to go and have lunch with them, just watch them interact without it being weird.
