For someone who doesn't live with their parents anymore, I really gained a lot from this book haha
This book reminded me of a lot of important things about interacting with your parents; even as an adult! To have proper communication, respect them, build trust, all sorts of things that are nesessary for a healthy relationship with not only parents, but honestly anyone.
I was able to apply things right away since my parents were visiting while I was reading this book and I gotta say; the things Ken Davis says to do, works! Highly reccomend any teenager, adult living with parents, or just full-grown adults who haven't always had a perfect relationship with their parents, to read this book and be reminded that you can't control them; but you can control how you respond and act back towards them.
A solid read, and will probably read again for reminders someday.

When my mom got me this book for Christmas, I was like, "Oh great. A book that's supposed to tell me how to act." But it was completely different.
The author actually understands what we're going through as teens, and he helps us see what's going through our parent's minds as well. And he shows how similar our situations are to characters in the bible, which I thought was pretty awesome. I felt so much renewed hope reading this book and it's made me see so many things in a new light. I absolutely loved this book, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone, teen or parent.

I found this at a second hand book fair, and I am glad I did. It has lots of good advice for us teens, and made me think. Plus, it is written from a Christian perspective. A good book for teens and their parents.

I tried to read this book but the writing was so lacklustre I couldn't even finish it. This surprised me, since I've heard Ken Davis speak several times and enjoyed him.
