I had a hard time relating to the author (because I never experienced "extreme cravings" or "morning sickness"...and I'm not British), so it made it difficult to follow at times. I did enjoy her funny British humor and weird words (like "loo-roll" instead of toilet paper). Overall, it felt like a journal or a blog...with little disconnected thoughts through each chapter.

I absolutely loved the analogies of pregnancy/parenting to stories in the Bible. I think the author had some great insights to God's Word and how to bring your relationship with the Father into being a parent.

The last chapter was great...a chapter that summarized the previous 11 chapters with "Bite-sized chunks" (that included snippets and scripture from each chapter) and testimonies from other "mums".
