Each topic is discussed in simple, straightforward language and beautifully illustrated. It has a comprehensive Table of Contents and a good index. It's a library book and has to go back, long before I've digested it. Probably, I should own it.
Visually appealing and clear, with one or two pages per topic, including tips for editing and effects. I didn't notice any shortcomings from being published almost a decade ago; it's an excellent introduction.
