Look, I just don't think I'm cut out to read juvenilia. It's bad, because of course it is. Maybe I'll read Mina Laury on its own (which was the main reason I tracked this down in the first place, and which may be better since it's at the end of a volume that seems to be arranged chronologically), but I see no need to suffer through this and have a bad Brontë experience.
