The former "A New Short Texbook of Orthopaedics and Traumatology" has been thoroughly revised to provide a new up-to-date texbook on orthopaedic and trauma surgery. Already established as a concise yet comprehensive text covering the whole undergraduate syllabus, "Textbook of Orthopaedics and Fractures" applies an integrated approach to muscoskeletal disease and unites basic science principles with clinical practice throughout. The new two-color design ensures the accessibility of content and is supported by over 250 high quality illustrations, many of which are carefully selected X-rays demonstrating common orthopaedic problems. Additional case studies represent the application of theory and basic science to clinical practice.
