This book is a culturally relevant presentation of the truth of the Trinity to the Muslim mindset. Originally it was issued through a Turkish secular publishing house and had a countrywide repercussion, even in Islamic circles. It is a useful presentation for both Muslim and Christian readers, providing fundamental keys for understanding and explaining the Trinity.
A difficult book simply because the doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not an easy teaching to comprehend let alone explain. However, it is excellent and whilst it is aimed at Muslims anyone who wishes to study the Biblical teaching will find it set out in a reasonably clear way.
I was struck by the thought that The term 'Person' carries such a reference to individuality in normal usage that it may create problems when trying to explain The Trinity to those not well versed in Theology and would need to be set out in particular in any setting forth of the doctrine.
The book was originally written in Turkish by the pastor of Istanbul Protestant Church.
Would I recommend it? Yes, very much so. It demands thought but that's not a bad thing.
Terrific read, not just for Muslim apologetics, but for anyone looking for clearer, Scripturally based points to conceptualize and justify the Trinity. I will share this book with Muslim and ex-Muslims. The only problem is the price. I couldn't find any for under about $15.
