Adventures in Animal Land

The stories dealing with the animals in their own land originated from Dr. Pyle when he would make up stories for his own children when they were young. "Scamper Squirrel" first appeared on the pages of a thirty-cent booklet (still available in pamphlet form), and so many children have eagerly read it and clamored for more such stories, that this volume of five animal land adventures is the result. May God bless all those who will be delighted by these tales from the forest.

I remember reading this when I was younger and always enjoyed the stories. It was so much fun getting to read t with my two kids (5 and 3). They enjoyed the suspense and trying to figure out what was going to happen in each story.

My daughter would probably give this 3⭐ she thought that some of the chapters were a little scary. I loved the Biblical lessons that were taught, although some of the writing style was a bit dated

Great kids book! My kids enjoyed the animal's adventures, and there were some good spiritual lessons along the way as well. It was a bit dated, but still holds up.
