Pre-intermediate Book + 2 Cds. An enjoyable way to improve English. The plot is different from Tim Burton's movie. I think the movie was quite more interesting than this book and here Sweeney Todd is ugly, with a very large mouth and unusually big hands and feet; and he had terrible, very long, thick, and untidy hair.

Synopsis: "In the narrow, crowded streets of 18th century London, Sweeney Todd runs a successful barber's shop, but his neighbours worry about his strange appearance and frightening laugh. Is the barber hiding something? Tobias, his young employee, thinks he is. Then other people, searching for missing friends, become interested in the shop. Are terrible secrets hidden there."

I loved the story! that actually motivated to read the complete version of the book. I'm sure my students are going to appreciate it too. The questions at the end of the book are well designed and could inspire great discussions and writing tasks

It was a good story even than it includes characters that was not necessary at all like Tobias' s mother, she didn't has any specific role in the story, and what about the story of the women in the hospital, the women's story didn't finish, I prefer that the writer didn't mention her story or he should finish it. after all I will give it 3 stars and thats good, I enjoy reading this story, I finished it in one day.

The story of this version is different from the Johny Depp's one. Sweeney Todd is just a wicked, greedy, and ugly man, "he was as coldly vicious as a guillotine." in this version while Johny Depp's can move the audience to sympathy. I enjoyed it until the ending.
