Simply dreadful attempt to ride the Author's connections to Splatterpunk writers. Sutphen is primarily a New Age writer and not a very good one. I had hoped that his change of topic and association with Richard Christian Matheson might have actually resulted in a readbale book of Splatterpunk Erotica. Instead, these stories are unoriginal, bad one-liner jokes or worse, riffs on Urban Legends such as the AIDS Avenger. None of the stories were very sexy - just repugnant. I would say if you were looking for horror that actually deals with sex and death, go back to Ramsey Campbell's collection of Erotic Horror titled SCARED STIFF. Sexpunks is even lower on the ladder of awfulness than the Hot Blood books which should give you a clue.
