As an owner of a St. Bernard, I believe this book is a great straightforward book on how to care for you St. Bernard. The book comes with side facts and small paragraphs of relevant information about the topic.
The most useful information was the puppy part and the breed standard of the dog. If you are a new owner of a St. Bernard, I recommend reading the breed standard section first. My St. Bernard was immediately checked on his body standards. That comes in handy to check if your dog has body issues. With the puppy section, it is a good introduction on knowing how to raise the puppy.
This book will help you get to know about your dog better. These dogs need attention. You get information from facts to healthcare to training to dog showing. The book will keep you wanting to learn more about your best friend.
