Suzy Kline, nee Weaver, was an elementary school teacher for 25 years and most of her books are based on the experiences she had while teaching. Suzy and Rufus got married and had two daughters named Jennifer and Emily. Now, more than 24 years after writing her first book, Suzy has traveled all over the United States helping children learn how to enjoy reading and writing.

I read the Mary Marony series as a little girl and loved them! When I discovered Open Library, I found the books again and decided to reread them and they’re just as enjoyable today as they were when I was younger. These books are perfect for children of all ages and those who want to take a trip down memory lane.

Cute story, but I didn't care for telling kids it's okay to lie sometimes so long as they can reason that they're only white lies.

BB picked this one off the shelves at the library. I thought it was a cute chapter book with pictures throughout. It taught a good moral lesson too in a simple way.
