There's no way you could properly review this or even give it a star rating due to the tragedy that befell the memebers of Heaven's Gate. It would be easy to dismiss this as total garbage and be done with it, but the interesting thing is that not only did someone come up this entire religion, but they were able to convince people that it was all real. It's certainly not an easy read and the skeptical side of me found it easy to dismiss it all as pure fantasy. By now everyone knows what their beliefs were and what they ultimately did. While it's sad and tragic, the book gives outisders a glimplse of what they believed and there's no doubt that even now, years later, there are even more people discovering the material Do left behind and are hoping that they too can exit their vehicle and reach the next level. Maybe this is just a cautionary tale left behind by some misguided peope who were duped into something they really wanted to be true or it could very well be the ravings of a lunatic with a God complex. Either way, it's an interesting read that no one should really take seriously or ridicule due to the tragedy that occured. Reading it is difficult at times, but there are also videos that go with this material that gives you a broader view of the cult and what it was that they believed.
