For university and college students who have completed intermediate-level Italian and are entering advanced courses, this workbook offers intensive practice on the imperativo, condizionale, congiuntivo, gerundio, infinito, and participio. It focuses on the syntactical structure of coordinate and subordinate clauses in Italian and on the appropriate use of vocabulary. Depending on the student's needs and level of instruction, the schede can serve to review grammar or to introduce new grammar and vocabulary. The Schede are organized by level of difficulty and lead gradually to an advanced stage at which the student is able to deal with complex and sophisticated material. The workbook is self-contained and can be used in conjunction with any grammar text; however, it is an ideal supplement to L?italiano d?oggi. More than half of the exercises are available on the diskette which accompanies this volume. This software allows students to correct their work independently, through step-by-step feedback. A teacher's manual is also available and will be useful to both instructors and those pursuing independent study.
