Read this BEFORE you get a dog. LOL. This book has an explanation of the lupine origins of the domestic dog (all breeds...yes even the tiny chihuahua is descended from wolves). And several problem behaviours and potential solutions. I have not had time yet to see if these will work on our dogs, but they are at least things I have not yet tried.

I have 2 terrier mixes so goodness knows if anything would actually work on their barking, LOL.
