the Flying Caduceus? really the Flying Caduceus? a doctor in LA set a speed record in it.
the author says craig breedlove is retired. last i heard (just a few years ago) he'd moved his shop from n.califoria to mexico and is still working on bettering the car.
realized this book was English when i read this sentence on p66 "Once, motor racing was purely a sport, conducted by gentlemen wealthy enough to indulge themselves." this ain't nascar.
