Stop Frontin'

THE MIRROR AND ME is about Kare, a young boy from Cape Town, South Africa. The kids in New York make fun of him because of the way he talks and the clothes he wears. As he tries hard to fit in, he changes his clothes, the way he walks and even tries fighting. No matter what Kare does, they still laugh at him. Sad, he screams at the mirror asking why? Will Kare learn?


THE MIRROR AND ME teaches a unique lesson about the importance of being yourself. I enjoyed the way the book is like a rap. I hope that there will be more books like this soon.
