Like many women, I lead a very busy life. So when health issues required that I start working out more consistently and cooking all my own meals from scratch, I had to find a way to get it done while still juggling everything else. This short book outlines the system I came up with so I can workout regularly, cook (almost) all of my own meals, and eat the way I need to for my health. I also include some tips on other time-savings habits I've developed. If you struggle to establish healthy habits because of your busy schedule, the system in this book could help.Below are the contents of the IntroductionChapter 1: Planning WorkoutsSet a GoalLayout Multiple Schedules & Pick Schedule to Fit the WeekStick to ItChapter 2: Weekend CookingWhat Led to Weekend CookingThe Overall ConceptItems You'll Need Food Containers List of Recipes Snack & Sandwich Bags (if appropriate) Week-long Vitamin Organizer Blender Bottles Insulated Lunch Bag or Lunch Box Water Bottle or Brita PitcherPrep Work on Thursday Layout Menu for the Next Week Make Grocery ListGrocery on FridayCooking on Sunday (and Saturday) Work the MenuOther Prep Work Preparing Water Buying Supplements and Protein Powder Prepping Supplements Laying Out Clothes Re-charging Electronics Leaving the Kitchen ReadyChapter 3: Summary and ModificationsMy Schedule in a NutshellChanging the Plan to Fit Your LifeEnlisting HelpOne Thing at a Time

A really great, short book to read. I love organising- anything basically lol, makes life a lot easier, and although I thought I was pretty organised with regards to my workout and eating stuff, I found a lot of helpful tips in here (some might say almost borderline ocd- like setting out 5 cups with your tea bags for morning tea- but I say you take some, leave some). A very helpful book.
Nice concise pamphlet on time management and making life simpler/easier/healthier. Nothing mind-blowing, but I definitely got enough out of it to make it worth the time it took to read.
