Clocks fascinate me. Unfortunately the book was poorly organized and poorly written.

Beware also that this is a book with a large emphasis on the practical aspects of how to cut and shape gears and other parts yourself, mainly using a lathe. It actually clearly says "Workshop practice series" on the front page, but I didn't realize this when I bought it. If you want to work with pre-made parts this is not the right book.
