Co-operacy: A consensus approach to work

Rate this book
Co-operacy is a process of collective decision-making as distinct from democracy or autocracy. This book explains what is involved in achieving teams and organizations based on consensus. It emphasizes the idea that organizational change begins when each person decides they want to be whole and want to create a work environment which supports this. The book is in three parts. The first part explains the concept, the second part shows how to use the peer approach in a range of workplace relationships, and the final part contains exercises and activities designed to help readers in developing peer partnerships in their own working life. The authors demonstrate how the principles of co-operacy can be applied through teamwork, coaching, mentoring, peer counselling and peer development groups.
