I learned through this book the importance of admitting, but not giving into my selfishness and self-centeredness as well as wanting to control life and everything/everyone around me. I also learned that change cannot occur alone. It is important to confess to God and also to people in order to stand together and work towards a better tomorrow. In doing so, we allow God to take control and live an abundant life. It is a daily process and can take a lot of work, but with letting go and letting God, it can be much faster.
