Church Actually by Gerard Kelly (23-Mar-2012) Paperback

Rate this book
Church attendance in the west has declined in recent years, but not because of a lack of interest in spirituality. There has been a boom in spiritual exploration, just without the church. The Christian story has lost its hold on our imaginations.
Can we break out of the greyness of our church experience to discover the riot of colour God intended? Is there a route back to the brilliance of God's plan?

This book was Inspiring, thought-provoking and brilliant. I love the way Gerard Kelly has with words. Whether he is talking or writing, he has a gift of making real, theological points in a way that everyone can understand. Brilliant. .

A readable exploration of what the church should be. It is both a challenge to rediscover the radical nature of church and a reassurance that we can be the church that God intends us to be.
