An accessible version of the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna. So much could be said about this man but I will just say this. For some he was merely a wise and holy man, devoted to his Divine Mother, a mystic, a sage. But for many he was an incarnation of God on earth, an avatar for this modern age, preaching the unity of all religious paths and traditions. His theology was expansive and inclusive of many traditions within Hinduism, and beyond it to include Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism. Reading Ramakrishna's words I found it hard not to admire him and to love him. I will read the full version some day!
