About the author

Peter Enns is Abram S. Clemens Professor of Biblical Studies at Eastern University, St. Davids, Pennsylvania. He has taught courses at several other institutions including Harvard University, Fuller Theological Seminary, and Princeton Theological Seminary. Enns is a frequent contributor to journals and encyclopedias and is the author of several books, including Inspiration and Incarnation, The Evolution of Adam, and The Bible Tells Me So.

This is the second year instructor's text and teaching guide for a series of twelve student (elementary - high school) books around the theme of "Telling God's Story". This material, which covers Jesus and the Kingdom of Heaven, is very good; biblically grounded and historically informed. I can't think of any teacher that would not be helped by this book though much work remains in terms of discerning how it can be age appropriately communicated to kids. This is so good that all adults can profit from it, perhaps using it as a guide for daily scripture reading. I'm already looking forward to Year 3.
