Great travel book that breaks the city up into the boroughs w/ a detailed map of each. Each section includes a 1-page overview of sightseeing, food & drink, shopping, and lodging. The rest of the section goes more in detail about each. It is a helpful bird's eye view of London w/ some history and includes a metro map and pages for notes. I found it very user friendly as I could easily flip to the section/map/must-see attraction I was looking for and find out about it.

This is ok. Nice and compact so easy to carry around, but very light on information and depth. Splitting London into specific areas is good, but very small pull out maps bad. Some of the things included surprise as much as some of the stuff missing.
Just about useful, but there are better books out there that serve the same purpose.

This guidebook was a gift from my son that I carried in my backpack when I spent 10 days in London, Summer 2012. I personalized it with check marks and notes and I now have a wonderful diary of my trip.

Great little pocket guide to the city of London. Not too dry and very informative. I'll be using it during a year abroad there, and I can't wait.
