This is a wonderful book! The author's passion for Victorian literature transformed this work into a beautiful time capsule, introduced, but successfully resisting the urge to edit the Victorian text.

I cannot wait to own a copy of my own.

If I could ask for anything else, I would ask that the author include an appendix in which the names of architects, residents, buildings, etc were mentioned. Those details which are mentioned in the Victorian text, would be greater served if they were given a bit of background, including years buildings were demolished or if they were still standing, if they were listed in the historic register etc. Also a current map would have been a nice compliment.
