Mcgraw-Hill Series in Mechanical Engineering

Fluid mechanics, with engineering applications by Robert L Daugherty

Rate this book
This seventh edition of "Fluid Mechanics with Engineering Applications" has been written to serve as a textbook for the first course in fluid mechanics for engineering students. In most curricula this course comes in the junior year and the students will already have had courses in differential and integral calculus and engineering mechanics. The student may also have had a course in thermodynamics and possibly in differential equations. The coverage in this book is broad, so that it can be used in a number of ways for a second course in fluid mechanics if desired.
