Although I gleaned a few helpful tips from this book, it is for K-12 educators. I don't recommend it for college instructors. For some reason it was on our professional development reading list. I think these authors/educators are a bit heavy on the NCLB plan. High school students taught under this plan are unprepared for college, as they do not get numerous reminders to turn in work, multiple attempts to improve exam grades, or general hand-holding in their college careers. I can see where some of the tips in this book may be helpful to the K-12 teacher who desires to be an excellent educator.
