How to Draw Pets
Some of the most fun things to draw are the most familiar. The cats, dogs, lizards and hamsters that people commonly keep as pets are just some of the domesticated critters featured in this informative drawing guide. Animals are broken down into simple shapes allowing aspiring artists to draw their favorite pet. Readers are encouraged to explore different materials like crayons, pens and markers.

This book starts with a summary about drawing and explains things like perspective and drawing movement. Then it describes the various tools that can be used to draw and the effects each has. Then each page shows how to draw something new. The tips are pretty easy to follow, but for someone with no artistic talent, such as myself, I do not know if I would be able to follow them. The drawings progressively get more difficult and involved. My students who love drawing books will love this one as well.
