The Heart Family Adventures

Rate this book
The book in it self is a fun and colourful way to help and promote the well being of children and other members of the family, by interacting with each other and carrying out activities together to create less of an obese climate that we are currently living in, and with the use of shapes, i feel that children could be drawn into the book. I deliberately created the characters based on the heart shape, as we all know that having a bad inactive heart can lead to health worries. From this I further developed them to create a family unit with their own individual characteristics. The book is split into short chapters from doing everything from going to the town and taking holidays, that is easy to read and understand and not complicated. By using simple shapes to create characters, I could create characters, but in my own style and in my own illustrative way.

Nigel Palmer is an author, educator, and experimental gardener. He is an instructor for the gardening portion of the holistic health education program at The Institute Of Sustainable Nutrition (TIOSN), a school founded by his wife, Joan Palmer.

After realizing that growing nutrient-dense foods is a health program in itself, he researched materials exploring the wisdom of indigenous people on how to work with nature to grow delicious, nutritous food. His research culminated in the writing of the book: The Regenerative Grower's Guide to Garden Amendments.
