Carl was our guide at the Washoe Club and Museum in Virginia City, Nevada. I picked up a copy of his book there and enjoyed reading the collection of short stories from his experiences in the Nevada/California area as well as a couple of stories from Ohio. I enjoyed his writing style and have to say he does a good job of expressing his feelings at the moment. Having been to some of the locations mentioned in the book, I found the historical background he provides interesting. It is a quick read, and the stories range of a couple of pages to several, but I found them interesting.
