This book is the first one that I have read that is clearly a reading levels book. One that is focused more on helping kids learn to read new words and than on being a story. I think that the book didn't have too bad of a plot and there was actually some level of character growth. I also like that the book had a message to it. In conclusion I think I was pleasantly surprised by the book.
