This book is about how Adele became the new hit pop artist in the music industry . Following her childhood on to the present. Reading through what all shes been through ,from rough times to the greatest as of now .
I like the way the story practically gave invisible bullet points starting from her childhood as of continuing from just posting one little verse of herself singing on Myspace to her getting emails from a lot of producers and her becoming who is she is now. I also liked how she when she did preformed , she just didn’t preformed she felt every feeling she could and it sometimes made her cry .I mostly loved the way every song she made I could relate and the fact it had a story behind it and the book told the story and I related to it also .
Something I would had changed was how she didn’t really want to talk about her dad as much , she would try to really ignore the question . I would had at least gave him another chance to get himself some time to clean up for her but the fact her mother kept her away from him ,she didn’t really understand she was so young at the time. Another thing is I would change that is when the book didn’t really concentrate on her childhood and really went straight to the point to when she started being a singer . I would had added more on how she grew up and then instead of getting to the point. Lastly I would change is that , it looks like she perfect in the book,the book didn’t add any problem in it. I want to know some mistakes in her career and how she’d accomplished it .
Pg.17 “People assume something gets successful by fitting in , but the greatest and most revolutionary artists don’t fit. Good music transcends what fits in the culture.” .. I’ve choosing this book because someday i would look forward into being a singer one day and allot of new artist interests me in allot of ways and I wanted to know Adele’s behind the music story and maybe I could relate in many ways.
