“Italian artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci, gained knowledge of the human body from anatomical studies.” This knowledge helped him create something I like, The Golem. The Golem is one of the earliest robots. In 1495, Leonardo da Vinci created The Golem based on his knowledge on anatomical studies and mechanics from ancient greek texts. The calculating machine (which is now a calculator), was the first machine to perform arithmetical functions. In 1642, Blaise Pascal, a famous mathematician created this machine. A film created in 1927 by Fritz Lang called “Metropolis” was one of the earliest films about robots. this film is a film about an evil scientist who created a robot called Maria and ruled over Germany. As one can see, These 3 informations were my favorite

Jeri Freedman created the book “Robots through History.” Here are some information about the content inside. Robotics fall into physical because you need strength and knowledge to make a robot. The information in the book related to one of the books i have already read. The book i already read was about modern robots. But this one is more about how robots developed over time. I think the content in my book may relate to Bill gate’s success in life. he may have known about The Golem ot the calculator. Either way, I think the past robots inspired him. As one can see, The content in this book is amazing and has interesting facts about the history of robots.

I would recommend this book to students aged 10-14 in Middle School. First, This book may interest other students who like machinery and technology of all kinds. Second, people may not want to read this book. Luckily, this book is short and has good amounts of information. Last, The book has interesting facts about things you would have never known in the past. As one can see, this book is interesting and averaged level for middle school students.
