This book may have been written for 9 - 12 year olds, but I found it a most interesting and fascinating tale (and I'm 86!). I mistakenly purchased it whilst searching Kindle for a book on an entirely different subject. I particularly enjoyed the book because Deborah Heiligman clearly and simply explains Mary Leakey's search for the origin of mankind without being too technical or too long. Janet Hamlin's illustrations are delightful. A good buy!
