Barbara Bryant really captivates her reading audience through the pages of "Compensated Suffering". From the start to the finish I learned to embrace the trials of life and know that God is in the midst of every "But God" storm. So often we feel like God has left us but Supervisor Bryant assures us that " God is right" there by our sides. Evening though we don't like to suffer, I learned it is a part of life and my spiritual growth. In growing, she stresses the need for forgiveness and helps the reader to see that "Forgiveness is a gift to yourself" and you may have to spend some time in the "waiting room" but it will all be worth it in the end. This is a much needed book of encouragement to any one who feels like they can't make it through the storm. A must for every library. Thank you Supervisor Bryant for being transparent and sharing your story with your reading audience.
