After hearing the little dog barking at his door, Honk-Honk-Ashoo finds friendly Swella-Bow-Wow eager to enter his home and, after doing so, quickly becomes part of the family by happily participating in all of Honk-Honk-Ashoo’s daily activities and games.
This book has cute illustrations. The story it's self was very quirky but was not focused. When I did a practicing reading there was page that I could see distracted my partner. He just kept getting stuck on the fact that the pillow character drank out of soda friend. I would not use it for any of my story times, but I would read it again for fun.

Strange little story... Or lack thereof. Just when it starts seeming like it's going to start telling a story, the book ends. The illustrations are cuts, but a little weird. The characters all have heads shaped like objects... That are used by others AS the objects they are... Weird.
"There once was a pillow head who snored his name: Honk-Honk-Ashoo." This story of a pillow head with a funny name charmed my daughter completely! The illustrations are simple and extremely cute, and the story is touching and sweet. I have a feeling we'll be checking this one out again in the near future.
The cover of this book was so strange, i just had to pick it up. Honk-Honk-Ashoo is the main character and he has a pillow for a head. One day he adopts a stray dog and names him Swella-Bow-Wow. Adorable illustrations.
