When Blue Truck has trouble on the slippery ice, Red Truck and Green Truck provide help. This board book with vivid colors on its pages is the perfect gift for the little ones in your life who can't get enough of trucks. Since there is a cardinal hiding on each page, the title helps young readers develop visual acuity and pay attention to details.

You know what? For a baby book [board book] this one sure was DRAMATIC. I think it could be about Vermont, because it's trucks on a mountain that's all slippy with ice and SNOW! And if that's not enough, guess what else? There's a CARDINAL on EVERY PAGE!!
Plus I could read all of it.
So that stuff all together makes it good. Not just for a baby book. For ANY book!

While the illustrations are fun and the text is fun to read (with the names of the trucks colored to match their color), I think the plot is a little too simple even for a toddler.

But because a lot of the story is in the background it allowed me to talk with my toddler about it.
