4.5/5: This was honestly beautifully told. A step by step instructions on her experience as to how to make a sick person comfortably die. Knowing how to care for a person doesn't come from science or fiction but from the experience she built off of caring for tons of other patients and this book shows she knows. Though a lot of the remedies and practices are dated for the modern age, the meaning and point of it still glistens: To care for the sick is to do everything in your power to make them die comfortable, clean, and respected. Nurses everywhere should read this.
