Twin text pairing #4

I selected this particular book because I think it would be a great book to read to students who may have never been to the beach before, or if they are planning to go to one soon, this book is also great for students who have been to the beach and want to just learn a little more about it. The book outlines what happens at a beach and what it is like very well. This book also discusses field trips pretty extensively so this may a good choice to read before a field trip. This book is best suited for a younger audience.

I paired this book with Bats at the Beach by Lies. This book traces a few bats on their journey to the beach. This is a great pairing because students see the prep the bats have to do just like they have to prep to go on trips. It is a cute little story that I really think students would enjoy.
